I just bought an Enermax Whisper EG365P-VE(FC) PSU...the 92mm fan on the bottom of this psu was my main reason for buying it, i had gone through 3 other psus with my computer, each one i modded to have an extra 92 or 120mm fan in the bottom to vent.
this particular Enermax PSU's fan is temp controlled by a temperature probe with roughly 4" of slack to it
this fan has a 7000rpm capability, but runs at 2295rpm because the temp probe is ****ing with my computer
i need full rpm, to fix that, u cut off the temp probe (so enermax sais) but doing this will void my 2year warranty
how can i remove this temp probe unnoticeably or is ther any other way to make it spin full opur rpm?
my comp is liquid cooled so i cant shove it in the heatsink, and the temp probe only has 4" of wire on it, what good is that? i have no maneuverability for this wire by no means
    HELP ME

shove it next to one of the heatsinks IN the psu, that should do it.
