Doctors have managed to make cells taken from human foetuses grow into fully-functional kidneys in a mouse.

The technique could offer a more practical way of helping patients who need organ transplants.

Thousands in the UK alone are on the waiting list for a new kidney.

A valuable new tool for the doctors, or are we playing god again?

    Discuss. :blah:

The simple matter is that’s its progress, if people believe that they are playing god then let them believe that so when they need a new kidney or whatever and need treatment we can whole heartedly tell them to piss off and eat some bloody herbs.

    /rant over :D

Valuable new tool I say, I don't see a problem with growing any body parts, or even full blown cloning for mass labour or soldiers.
IMHO it's just evolution, people need to quit their 'playing god' bull and get with the times.
