about 700 points behind the X1900 as I thought... not bad considering the clock differential really. Well pleased with that!! There's more to get out of this card yet I reckon as well.

    "Team Bit-Tech.net with a top 10 average of 2363.20 3Dmarks"

    Errr.. 5 entries totalling over 23,000, divided by 5 = 2363?? I think not.

no it's divided by 10, hense the reason to get more scores up even if they are shite as it will reduce the number of 0's

Keep in mind my machine is not really optimized as a top-of-the-line gaming rig so much as a high end workstation. If I was going all-out for gaming I would have gotten a FX57 (the 60's wern't out when i built this) on a single CPU board and spent the price differential on 7800 GTXs. Instead I went for dual CPUs and onboard SCSI with the lower range video cards to get a good gaming machine that also multitasks well and is stable.

Or, to put it another way, I built a machine no one else would, and I like it just fine! :thumb:

The CPU doesn't really bias the score too much with '06. A faster chip would't have really upped your score significantly. I reckon those cards should be scoring higher. Looking on ORB, there are dial GT setups turning in 8000+ scores. The GT isn't THAT much slower than the GTX. It's a great score, and you beat me.... Grrr.... but I feel you should be getting more.
