are these pumps supposed to run hot(as in almost too hot to touch in some places), i have a friend who is using one in his setup atm and it gets really hot and he is concerned it is adding too much heat to his loop?
If the heat was going into the loop they wouldn't get hot! The pump is rated about 23W so it may well warm up. If its in the path of the rad fan then that't good for pump reliability.
the pump is rated at 27W, but i have an eheim and that gets a little warm, he was just worried that there was something wrong with the pump becasue it was a bit hot
