    The plans:

/\ Thanks for waiting a minute for the post.

As with the ATI PC, this project will be a working advertizement for Kingston Techology. Kingston will take the PC to tradeshows and game events.

This will be the first project I build without the majority of the design taking place in trueSpace. The reason for this is that I am modifying many of the design plans I had for the ATI PC, which reside mostly in Corel Draw.
That, and this project has a due date of the first week in November.

The following images were created in Corel Draw, and composited in trueSpace3.
Any blurriness is due to JPEG Compression.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

The faceplate consists of four areas:
    • The DVD area, with ZapWizard logo, and tribal markings. These areas are backlit blue.
    • The Kingston Logo, backlit white and red. This may be removed for use of a memory card reader.
    • The Tribal symbol, this will be backlit blue.
    • The logo area, with Shuttle, ATI, and AMD logos, each lit with the proper color.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

The top of the case will have a large Kingston logo and head lit up red.
The head will have a blue border to help set the two black areas apart.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

The rear fan grill was custom designed to fit the tribal theme of Kingston Technology.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

The right side of the case is where the actual DDR memory will be visible through a rounded window. (Blue)

The black areas in the window are air vents, that will be cut into the plexi.

The HyperX logo will be cut directly into the metal case, and backlit red and blue.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

The left side is a mirror image of the DDR side, with a window showing part of the graphics card.

I kind of have to agree. While I still couldn't do anything like this, you just can't get as creative with a shuttle as you can with other cases or custom-built. I'm sure Kingston will love it, though. :thumb:

Actually... I don't like it. I think it look like one big mess with all those stickers :( Sorry, but i think a custom case would be alot greater.

There are a few reasons for choosing a Shuttle:

1: Shuttle is willing to send a PC for the build.
2: Easy to pack and ship
3: Still a super fast computer that rivals nearly any tower.

-Also those will NOT be stickers by any means. They will be back-lit, laser etched plexiglass plates.
There are 110 LEDs planned for the current build.

Also, there will still be a custom keyboard and mouse for this project.
    But no custom jacks.

Just to show that I was trying to be different with this project, my original
idea was to build a 3D model of the Kingston head, and integrate a computer inside.
You can see the early plans here:

The plan is for a 74GB Raptor.
But there may be a drive donated from another company.

Shuttle PSU's are very high quality, and put out a lot of power for their size.
A 240-watt Shuttle PSU puts out about the same as a 350-watt no-name PSU.
There is an explination on that here:
    http://forums.bit-tech.net/showpost.php?p=684320&postcount=488

I listed the systems specs in the first post.

The design needs taming down a bit.
Just too much happening in such a small space, keep it simple but elegant.

Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh rather than a drawing, might appear more subtle.
