Do I go north where I see a glade with the embers of recently used fire…

Pregabalin going up to 400mg after a positive blood-work from my affected kidney. I still ache like utter arse but it’s good to know that what’s trying to kill me isn’t doing that great a job to allow other drugs to take some of the strain. Big ol’ CT scan coming up which will be defacto measuring point for next few months. Plus February visit to to Boys at Bart’s to check any new clinical trials.

Yes I have off days (fear of missing out on the kids and wife). I’m still stuck upstairs with an iPad mini and Tears of The Kingdom but I’m staying as positive as I can!

Lots of love from old Judd

Happy New Year Ian, thanks for the update.

Keep on keeping on, the iPad Mini is a great companion, mine’s been great this week resting with a bad back.

Still going. Spine seems to be the current thing to be looking after so they’ve been MRI and CT’ing their way around which is good because I can’t turn sideways too well when sitting. Also, when did energy become quantifiable?! It’s so strange to have to be fed your first few spoons of breakfast before being able to take over. Yet I can text in bed without ramification.
    The body is ****ing weird.

Thanks for the update Ian, sorry that sitting is being troublesome.

A spoonful of suger helps the medicine go down is not just because it tastes horrible. If I'm to do anything physical for a prolonged period of time I need toast first.

Huh, when I see a post from you now mate all I can hear is your username being shouted as if I'm at the Oval and Root is playing.

It is both amazing and the most useless badly designed piece of junk that is sent to test us lol.

    Keep on souping dude.

MRI gave us an indication of either fractured vertebrae or cancer pushing on the spinal cord so it’s treatment for that whatever entails.

I was hoping for a more general update on his health.

Such sad news. I never knew Ian personally, but I always appreciated his presence on the forum. He was approachable, kind, and always willing to help.

    Rest easy.

Having bought several things from Ian, and spoken to him a few times, this makes me sad :( Much love to all his family and friends, he was nothing but a pleasure to deal with, and had a great sense of humour!
