Gah, ditch the asus, get an Abit IS7 or IC7. Great stability, speed, onboard audio, and overclocks better than the dog's danglies.

pretty much so considering that they've been proven to overclock the best before, and they also have a shedload more overclocking options.

    Same

I've got an Abit IS7 and love it. Very faithful. It's been at over 250FSB for the last... umm... since I got it... which is probably two years ago.

I meant about OC'n the dogs danglies, do you breed dogs? i can see how a faster refresh rate would help, lawd knows i could use it :D

firehed has me leaning towards the IS7, or is the IC7 a higher quality board?

only difference is chipset. some say the IC7 can clock higher. and if you want, i can go and find a way to get the refresh rates and clock speeds on dog danglies, and then try to find a way to boost em.

i'm pretty sure they'll be running a heavily modified version of the open source clone of boxers, complete with support for Laser pee and (seed) aiming, built in peltiers to cool those danglies as we boost speeds, and a completely customizable and recompilable tail door and poop chute, so your doggy doesnt drop bad code in his new boxers. It's a bitch to install and configure em you know.

alcohol is a depressant. so is depression. my writing becomes much better in the prescence of either. Usually the latter does more justice to my talents though.

I have an Abit IS7 however, due to leaking capacitors, it is being RMA'd. When it was running however i was able to push my 2.2ghz 533 northwood to 3.0 running stock voltages 24/7 with no problems. I would go for an Abit :thumb:

leaking caps are an incredible rarity for an abit motherboard. Dont be discouraged by that.
