Is the facebook group still active? I joined but I can't see it my list anywhere (and a couple of people on twitter have said the same thing)
I think a few more folks will have to put their money where their mouths are tbh. Although the very fact that Simone Cowbell has dissed it makes it worthwhile, it's obviously irritating him.
I bought mine yesterday, will buy off play.com today too, although I believe it's a bad song choice in terms of the money will go to Sony no matter what I still support the cause, anything that would wipe that cocky grin of simon cowell's face even for a second is enough to please me, I hate the pop culture at the best of times but the fact that the X Factor gets shoved down our throats every year and the winners song is always number 1 infuriates me! I think RATM are crap but I can say I proudly own killing in the name just to piss off simon cowell EDIT: Just a question, will we expect to see RATM on top of the pops on christmas? That's when the number 1 is officially announced isn't it?
I hate X-factor winners becoming famous for singing shitty versions of awesome songs. This has to be one of the most popular yet woeful covers of an awesome song ever:
oh wow, I never heard the winners song before, that was AWFUL! Seriously that cover is just horrifying, he's not even a very good singer, how could something like that be a contender for the top of the charts? Oh I forgot, the pop charts have been filled with crap ever since I was born ^_^
I accidently bought it. In my defence, I misplaced my existing copy of the album, so I needed another. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
wow, I was against the xfactor in this little rouse, but after hearing the song im after it for the good of us all! I watch alot of tv at christmas and if I have to hear that all day ill slice my face open

KING TOM Morello was on 6 Music this morning, giving his 2 cents, really good intervew, and he's giving (a fairly large percentage apparantly) to UK charities.
Well, bought and downloaded despite already owning the rage album. That Journey cover is just appalling.
