i have to reinstall the same Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller every time i boot.

the drivers associated with it (from the device managers properties)
    Code:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\usbhub.sys
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\usbohci.sys
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\usbport.sys
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\usbui.dll
what can i do to make Windows x64 Pro load these drivers automatically? i am using my moms ps/2 mouse, and she gets my Logitech G5! i miss my mouse!

I had the same thing for a while. Can't remember how it resolved itself - I think I erased all the USB devices and reinstalled them, with reboots inbetween.
Do you have PCI usb cards, or just the mobo ones?

just the mobo ones, i got a couple usb drives on it (USB Floppy, ext USB HDD, and a G5 mouse) that dont work unless i do the reinstall.

do you know how lame it is that i have to install a driver with a Ps/2 mouse in order to use my baby?
