i just sat down to write out a draft of a new resume, and when i tried to write i couldent.....i have used a keyboard for so much over the years, that i literally cant write anything anymore with the exception if my signature...anything else is so bad that only i might be able to read it.....
Don't feel badly. I can't write in cursive at _all_, and my carpal tunnel is soo bad, my print looks like cursive, at BEST. I've had people ask me if I'm a doctor before, and after writing a few lines by hand it hurts too much to even write anymore. You are not alone.
Same here, ive never been a tidy writer, i have wrote anything big apart from filling in my adress or my signiture,
same here m8...only mine gets worse! I might need an operation on my wrist to remove a gangrel caused by cps had the mri on it last week
I have servere problems writing... I just kinda forgot howto... sometimes I find it hard to write my signature! Mebbe I should start practicing before my exams at the end of next week
i mess up on my signature all the time. my sig now cinsists of B(squigle squigle) P(squigle squigle) you guys think carpal tunnel is bad. try arthritis in a 18 year old kid. i wake up some mornings (usually whne cold) and i cant even make my fingers come together to zip my pants or tie shoes. and its like that all over my body. so inflexible cuz of swelling its not even funny sometimes. also, its pretty hard to punch someone without doing LOTS of joint damage. soo many dumb people, not enough fist of mine left. i should take kickboxing, but id wear out my hips too.
im 18 and i have arthritis. it really sucks. its not as bad as yours apparently, i still have full use of my joinmts, its just REALLY painful.
after doesn't comes [/b] but [//i]... I can still write, have to go to school 5 days a week and 8 hours a day and the only thing we do there is writing... stupid fskcing school...
I have a forum of arthritus, but it should go away in a few months. I agree with both you fellow sufferers, it doesn't exactaly hurt, it just makes things harder. My writing is terrible, my signature looks like a 5 yr olds attempt at cursive. I can still write, but no one can read it No carpal tunnel as of yet, I try to keep good posture (most of the time). Signing out...
the carpel tunnel is where the tendons in your wrist can be found. CPS (Carpel Tunnel Syndrom) is basically another name for RSI (Repetitive Stress Injury)
ah RSI that sounds familiar... I had it once but it just went away again, really neat... neeeeeeed natural kb, neeeeeeeed
ive been using my ms natural keyboard since my pentium 133 system years ago......im a bit lost when i go to a regular keyboard......
I've been using natural kb's for years...and wrist supports for both mouse and kb. Not that it made any diff! Technically I dont have RSI...but I sustained damage to one of my tendons and this was caused by a Repetitive Stress Injury...fluid leaked off the damaged tendon and a small hard sack formed called a gangrel. And this might need an operation to remove it *sigh* Also, I asked both my wrist surgeon and the consultant radiographer and both said there is no proof that using a natural kb or wrist supports will make any bleeding diff!
what the hell? So... this is all just a commercial trick to sell? Goddamnit I hate moneymakers! Well anyway I want a natural keyboard, it's the last thing I need (except for a fridge full of red bull or other caffeinedrinks) to be a professional programmer!
im 18 got a problem with my hands where i was not born co-ordinated enough (thank you for smoking when you were carrying my mum good idea) to hold a pen i have some wierd pain in my hands soetimes but i can bend the top of my fingers back (will get pikkis i promise) & have a knackered back since comming off my scooter @ xmas this sux writing should be outlawed & everyone should have to type
hehe i can write just about legibly still but whilst we're on hand complaints i thought i'd tell you how stupid i am it seems i've become a bit obsessive about cracking my knuckles and do it by habit now and consequently my right index finger is a bit angled towards the other fingers... not nywhere near as bad as arthritus or cps tho thankfully
