Apple I made a Powerbook Sock :D

I found some of this lovely furry fabric at home and I just had to use it. So I sat down with the sewing machine and ended up with a beautiful cow-coloured Powerbook sock

You could actually sell these things, they do look cool indeed.

But does the fur hold static?

 

I think there are plenty of other people who sell something similar for a lot of money, I have no intention of competing with them.

No idea if it holds static though, I shouldn't think I need to worry

 

I made a purple sock for my ibook, actually from sock material a month or so ago, much to the amusment of my friends.

I'd rather have the pb itself, but wouldn't mind the sock once I have the laptop to put it around. Which reminds me... need to spend that xmas money... it seems that my bank account gained a few hundred bucks that I can't explain, not that I'm complaining.

 

Nice work, I keep threatening to ask the gf to make one for me , but seeing as I'm thinking of changing my 12in powerbook its a silly time to do it hehe

 

i have an ibook and a 2 pc's and no ipod.....something wrong with me? :s you could definately market that sock btw tomm, its been very well made judging on the picture tried making some more and ebaying them?

 

OT: Anyone know what the minimum dead pixel count for an iBook is before they'll replace the screen? Found a deadun' on my iBook last night
