Well fap seems to have the majority vote here I dont want to know why but this might help I'm sure there's no age limits and it dont need much room.

I also needed a hobby and am trying to get into case modding. I spent my afternoon sanding down the front panels on my Cosmos in preparation for painting. I'm doing a blood red theme.

 

hmm it seems like its going to be model building guys! - any ideas? ^^ i once remember painting warhammer 40k was very popular ^^

 

Go for some cool airplanes or helicopters. They can be hung from the ceiling when you have built them. (Solves the storage problem)

 

Yea, start with Airfix, and work your way onto the more detailed and tricky models.
Myself, i do Fish keeping, and Model Railways. Currently, the trains take up little space, as i have no layout, but a layout doesn't need to fill a room for enjoyment.
Fish however do take up space, but again, you don't need a massive tank for enjoyment, you can have a nice variety of fish in sub 100 litre tanks.

Yeh join the army travel the world meet interesting people and shoot them.

then learn how to mod your car better brakes, suspension chipit etc

On a more serious note, model airplanes - not those cheap plastic crap ones, balsa and glue ones. They are really fun to build and you can really go all out if you want to.
