Take up a sport (if you don't already), best fun ever.
I started playing tennis, then moved to squash, and it beats doing other hobbies.
Also very social and gets you fit.

Programming of any variety you fancy. Learning is always a good way to spend time :) Requires next to no money to be spent in most cases also.

Learn: Program, study for an Open University degree or something

Sport: Take something exciting up, cycling is great fun provided you have the time and somewhere to go.

Or you could go down the slightly more calm/simple route and take up something like modelling, reading, LEGO, anything like that.

But as for the most exciting and interesting one, although not always cheap, get a girlfriend, or at least try - always worth it tbh. :)

    Learn an instrument

    eg. Drums!!!
    or guitar
    or bass

    one of the cool instruments

Takes up a lot of time to get good, and drums are good to hit when your pc breaks/other s*** happens in your life.

    All good fun
