This, This and This!
Bambleweeny 57 Submeson Brain
Medium Hadron Collider
Positronic Chaloric Effectuator
Although if it was me I'd call it something comically quaint and rural, like Gertrude. I don't often get asked to suggest names for things any more.
Not unless it houses the hoover!
....and i was trying to remember what it was called so post it lol.
Hi Dave! *waves*
As for names...
Class-26 matter re-organiser
ACME Corp. patented Atom Mangler.
Frosty's Thermonuclear Engine.
Man Portable matter muncher
Multiple atom destroyer Device (MAD Device)
LHC Reatomisation module CH-01
Lil' Radiation King
Nebuchadnezzar Mark III No. 11
Friendly uranium repurposing engine
Matter conversion unit
Residential Thermonuclear Reactor
I'm liking those. Have some rep, both of you!
Imagining something like this on the nameplate...
Maybe with a styalized atom in place of the hyphen. Not sure how hard that would be to get made.
So here's the unit itself...
and I plan to install a set of these in it moving upwards... (obnoxious music warning, skip to 1:10 to see how they work)
In the finished "reactor", that unit will sit on top of a wooden box with various switches and dials on it, and a big knob in the middle (because who doesn't want a big knob). The light tubes will be arranged within the gas cylinder in a circular configuration. If I can figure it all out, when you first turn on the unit only three of the eight or 10 tubes will be "firing", but as you crank up the knob more and more "fire" and do so at a faster rate. Not sure how much of the electronics is feasible yet, but that's the plan.
A friend told me today about a Back to the Future meme referencing a "F**ks Capacitor", so one of the dials will have to be labemed "F**ks Capacitor plate voltage". Maybe set it so that when power is applied the dial reads 2.21 Gigaf**ks
Sounds cool. Something like this?
That is so cool looking! Obviously you do understand that all of us expect a worklog.
Putting together a couple of ideas, how about Atomatic where the second, lower-case a, is the atom symbol below.
Separate names with a comma.
