I'm looking for a digital potentiometer like this one http://products.analog.com/products/info.asp?product=AD5201 but one I could control with a computer com port does someone know where I can find this thanks
Just buy a D2A (digital to analog) converter and use it with a variable voltage regulator for high loads. Most (if not all) digital pots can sink only a few microamps, it's a waste to try to put a load on them. They are only good for reference voltages. -special [k]
thanks for your help can you tell me wich D2A I should use? I know a few things in electronics, but absolutely nothing about digital and com port communication
