A brand new Piaggio NGR MC3 50cc Air Cooled. Well that and a jacket, helmet, gloves trouers, lock.

It's being delivered on wednessday.

Some pretty nice stuff for sale to soup it up with. New exhaust, new carb (or injectors), new engine management, bigger inlets etc. Ive seen those machines go 150 km/h an hour

 

the reason noone wants a 2nd-hand moped is that your average bike has been skited across a mini-roundabout at least twice, not to mention all that caning the engine to get anywhere quick.. do people even service them??

50cc that will hurt you badly unless you de-restrict it, my scooter does 60mph and thats not fast enough. Don't listen to the people that put scooter riders down I got mine for travelling to work it means I get an extra 25 mins in bed in the morning and normally get home 20 mins earlier (has saved me upto 1 hr a few times) and that soon adds up. Also in the summer it's nice to drive down the country lanes. I looked at the NRG but they didn't do a 125cc version so I got a speedfight 100cc.
Enjoy you riding but you picked the wrong time of the year as its only going to get colder.

 

On the contrary, I think his timing is good. It's the middle of winter, no ****er wants to ride at this time of year so dealers slash prices to entice people in. I bought both my bikes in December, saved nearly a grand on the july prices, saved nearly £130 on a leather jacket alone...

 

I pass a guy on a scooter going to work each morning, and whats nice,is that at this time of year I'm all cosy and warm, I look at him and think awwwwwww what a shame.

 

Mine does 35 on the flat and 55 down hill. Yes its slow but it is safe. I intend to get it de-restriced though, or do it my self. I would be very happy with 40-45 on the flat.

Well I was thinking that it was the best time of year, as I will experience the crap weather, and become confident, while the summer riders will end up crashing 'cos they think they know it all.

Its supprisingly warm on a scoot actually, except you get freezing nads, but ehh.
