hay, was taking a look at task manager earlier and i noticed something i haven't before it came up in Google as a worm, but AVG doesn't flicker an eye lash at it can anyone confirm it its a worm or not and if it is how to remove (its in my System32 folder, and i don't like poking around in there) massive thanks in advance edit: just to expand a little, i have noticed my PC being exceptionally slow of late.
its not a Worm its a program to stop one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Local_Security_Authority_Subsystem_Service Try cleaning some of the crap from your system/startups i can see a few item i disable once installed realsched jucheck etc i use Microsoft Autorun go to the login section and untick a few things http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx or try using ccleaner to give your system a good clean up. defrag? I took AVG off my system as i felt it was becoming a bit of a hog. Now use Microsoft Essentials - works well and you don't even know its there.
