Rant I thought the EU investigations fined first but not for Google it appears?

    I'd prefer to see them fined the multi billion euro figure first. They've made the money by breaking an EU ruling, so they should pay. Microsoft get fined that way so why not Google?

    Perhaps because google reached a settlement but microsoft didn't?

    I thought having the "N" versions and browser choice screen was a settlement after the many millions in fines.

    Sounds like Google has made the many billions in ads but then gets to keep it?
