spike :- yes i have alloys 21" / and its a VX commodore the vectra is a mock of it / and it does have a little customisein with usa parts special thanks to gm to ship the parts out scoob8000:- i shall laugh at u very hard it has a 5.7l generation 3 V8 / the gm grand is built here and we ship it out we also ship other model holdens as well, but seen as holden is a gm company owned by aus its all the same parts
wow... i really want your car then.. so pretty much its the same LS1 as in the camaros.. i cant wait to see the new pontiac GTO, rumuord to have the same engine, in a all wheel drive config.. looks sweet.. ive seen a lot about the gm/holden thing.. just wish we had some of them here.. make a lot of nice cars.. -scoob8000
holden are trying to make a deal with gm at the moment to sell our holdens as a chev over in us but they think we dont have enough factorys and stuff to keep up with demand and if u think that is a nice car u should see the new manro boasting the highest 350rwhp stock in oz and it only has a generation 2 5.0l V8

that motor is the generation 3 V8 made in aus a 5.7L v8 except the red covers that say corvette say holden

my ranger has a bigger engine all of 5.8L and man do people know it (lovely 351 badge on the side... and the thunderous roar when i have it at full throttle.... and the 653hp at the rear wheels... mmm nos fogger system )
GM owns holden, they were going to bring the commodore ss into northamerica, but now are going to bring the monaro CV8 or gts300 i beleave) in as a Pontiac GTO to fill the gap left by the departure of the firebird...the car is going to get a styling warmover by pontiac, though the tuning will likeily stay the same as its allready tuned by callaway....
cool hand ill like to correct 1 of your statements holden is australian owned and made and has been for 100 years only for the last 40 odd years has gm and holden had any thing to do with each other gm own parts of holden but not all they have shares so to speak we build parts for gm they build parts for us its like a hand in hand job the manaro wont be shipped out anywhere seen it is a speacial edition car it was rebuilt to celebrate the origanal manro, so i think u.s will be gettin the ss commodore i have found out from my friend today that gm and holden now have a partnership so ull be seeing more aussie cars in america soon oh and just so u no i havent riced mt holden out it has body kit pro lowered springs and shocks / 21" rims / modded motor took out the origanal air filter and put a pod filter in / and a few other things but ill post again when i finish it

dude its been holden vs ford for the 100 years any way theres 1 way to proove the holdens are better we have this race called bathurst ok its the be all and end all of all of our car races now for the last 60 years or so ( i dunno exact ) holden has finished 1st and 2nd all the time and ford if there lucky get 3rd there proove
