Please pay more attention to your sat-nav.

The moment his brake lights turned on, I prepared for something stupid.

I've seen other cars doing that maneuver, there is often a queue up ahead. When people see brake lights ahead, then make a dash for this this exit as shortcut. It was waaaay too close this time.

The amount of drivers not paying attention to the road is astonishing.
The amount of drivers feeling entitled and drive aggressively is even more astonishing.

FUN ACTIVITY: next time you're in a big multilane traffic jam, stick to the middle. You'll notice you move faster than the outside lane as the w@nkers are all arse to tail.

Also, you've reminded me I need to get a dashcam.

Back when I first passed my test, and dinosaurs still roamed the earth, I was stuck behind the aftermath of one of these drivers.
He'd tried to do the above at "70mph" ;), but got the car a bit too sideways & ended up rolling down the middle lane of the motorway.
By the time I'd reached the front of the ensuing traffic jam, the driver was sitting on the barrier next to the ambulance, while a police officer took his statement

I've found the inside lane to be best in those situation, because lorries seems to change speed less aggressively and thus smoother shuffling forward.

Yes, dashcam are well worth it for piece of mind, in case something difficult to pin blame happens, you know you have hard evidence.

I've also been informed of "operation snap" for submitting dashcam footages. Just getting the proper files off the SD now.

Who thinks like that, seriously? We've been there - caught out in the wrong lane when the junction looms and there's no safe way to get there, and it's just "aw, fer folks sake!" and curse all the way to the next junction.

A good driver sometimes misses their exit, a bad driver never misses their exit.

Come to Houston. You will see this kind of stuff multiple times daily. I've seen a fatality collision in a parking lot.

Fun fact - This is the way 317 of the 85,000 Dodge Chargers made in 1969 ended their days, painted orange and jumped over things for TV. On average, they wrecked 3 per episode.

This one received better marks from the judges

(I remember seeing it a while back and checked at the time that they were, relativity speaking considering that they practically went into orbit, okay)
