It's been a few months since I got spam at my gmail email account. BUT wow, look at that, I've won TWO British lotteries/competitions in a single day - what are the odds . What scares me is that the english of these guys is getting better and better.
I don't know why, but whenever I see one of these, I always feel like playing games with the sender...a little abuse doesn't hurt, especially as they're trying to scam you in the first place...
Just don't call the first one to abuse, 50p per minute. http://www.downloads.bt.com/pricing/SpecialisedNos.pdf
Wow and the e-mail is so legit, yahoo Hong Kong!!! I only just stared getting Spam after 7 years of using e-mail (when we first got the internet, I was so deprived as a child)
What's funny is they don't even try to mask the fake e-mail. If it was the lottery I doubt they'd be using Yahoo as their mail provider.
2 in the one day!!! you are now very Rich!! lol I only ever had one of these, and i think they were also using a yahoo address!! it really is awfull
WOW, an interest-free 5 million Euro loan AND a business opportunity. Let me go reply to the bank's aim email adress post haste! And damnit, this email account of mine was spam free for about a year, then I got several of those stupid stock scam ones per day, and then there was a lull for a while. I guess two per week aint bad, especially since gmail sends them straight to the spam folder. At least they're ridiculous and funy.
Yea, seems to be happening more and more frequently, I wan tto know were they get your e-mail address form. I don't sign up to crap and always tick the dont send me crap button. But now I am getting teh spams.
OK. I've had a hot mail address for years and I've not had any spam, it must be like waiting for a bus.
He's the "Head of the Department" so it MUST be true! =P I also got one the other day about how Russia wants to give ME a few million dollars in US funds. Imagine that, little ol' me. Seriously, these are getting less peculiar and I'm getting bored with them. I was finally spam free for a few months, until these stupid emails started arriving. *sigh*
Well what do you know - I won again! They sent me 5 identical emails and in each they had this message written three times. So that means I must have won 15 times! lol, I had better watch out - it's been abused severally in the past. Although I've got to admit - their english is overall pretty good.
Just fill them out with hilarious details. Tony Blair and Paris Hilton have already won several lotteries. Anybody remember that Mitchell & Webb sketch where they're phoning people and telling them they've won loads of money or a boat? The person who answers hangs up thinking it's a scam, but when it cuts to the long shot, they really are bored millionaires who are just trying to give away their money.
