Hey, I need some help building me a pc. As the topic says I want a 2500k build.
My budget is 700 euro. That is the absolute max that I can afford. And YES I will be OC'ing it in the future.

I did some research and came up with these parts: http://www.dateks.lv/grozs?content=...mxuiCxuaGpkYYKo0tTTC1G5mZmqELmpibWlqiCtbWAgA=

    CPU Intel Core i5-2500K (3.30 GHz, 6MB Cache, LGA1155)
    MOBO Asus P8P67-M B3
    RAM Kingston 4GB, DDR3, 1600MHz, CL9, Kit Of 2, HyperX X.M.P
    HDD Samsung 1TB 7200RPM 32MB Spinpoint F3
    DVD Samsung SH-222AB, DVD+/-RW, 22x, Sata, Black

CASE Thermaltake V3 Mid Tower, Black Edition
    PSU Thermaltake 550W, Cable mng., 14cm fan or Corsair 500W, CX500, 80+, 12cm fan
    GX GTX 460 1GB or HD 6870

I'm pretty confident about the cpu, mobo, ram, hdd and dvd choice, but I cant figure out if the TT v3 is good enough, which psu do I need 500, 550 or even 600 W. And which gx card should I choose, cuz from what I have hear/read ATI cards have more problems than nvidia, but they have a lot better performance.

    Thanks in advance.

Given the choice I'd get an MSI P67A-GD53 (B3) motherboard which gives you many more options in the future upgrade department. Also swap the memory for Corsair XMS3 Classic 4GB rated at 1.5v. Get a Fractal Define Mini case and a Corsair CX600 PSU.

The GPU depends what resolution you game at, saying that a GTX 560 Ti should cover most bases. Something like an Asus 1GB GeForce GTX 560 Ti DirectCU II TOP is an excellent GPU but for not much more you can make the leap to a GTX 570 with a reference design card such as this MSI example...

Although I know you'd have to source these things from your particular region so prices may vary!

agree with all of this also maybe look out for a 5850 extreme, there much better than a 6870 and only cost about £100

Actually scratch the Fractal Mini as it's only MATX! I meant the Fractal R3. :thumb:
