IBM Hardrives - why are they so sh*t?

    I invested in a 20x burner from novatech a couple of weeks ago (85 quid) - I'm not looking back (upgraded from 8x) :D

    p.s. 40Gb is nothing :D

    hmmmm but won't u like the ATA-133 Maxtors?

    they have a faster seek time than IBM and they have Fluid bearings to 'em to boot

    I've seen too many problems with other drives to get anything other than seagate now. I want to get an 80GB Barracuda IV....
