I'm gathering my thoughts for my new case modding...i'm going for a frozen kinda theme. I wanna paint my case so it will look like an ice cube...smooth, shiny with some cracks....any ideas how i would go about this?
what you should do is chuck some clear or light blue acrylic in the oven and bend it a tad when it gets soft into like a square then just do like a frosted glass effect with maybe a light blue CC in the bottem
Light blue paint, with white. If you want to do something really cool, check out marblizer painting techniques from House of Kolor Paints. It doesn't actually look anything like marble, but it can be made to look like ice. Also, if you are going to window it and you have access to an aircompressor, you can you go by walmart and get a sandblaster pretty cheap. Hold it back a ways and frost the edges of the acrylic. Cool idea. I've always wanted to do a frozen themed case myself. Maybe I'll get around to it one of these days.
