    How do all.

Right. After looking around here and being simply stunned at some of the WC setups that people have, I have been toying with the idea of setting one up myself.
Now, the Gigabyte 3D Aurora 570 (simply referred to as the Aurora from here on now as I ain't typing that every time :p) is a fairly sizeable case with WC in mind (rubber grommet covered holes in rear of case for tubing).

The attached picture is a rough idea as to how I am thinking of approaching this. I don't know why, but SU seems to run like treacle with the models I have downloaded and is finicky as hell, so I kinda lost my patience with it as am stressed out at the moment trying to write a literature review for my PhD currently (this is my side project organising this to prevent me going insane).

    Anyway, I digress.

    Current setup that I have is as follows;

    Gigabyte P965-DS4 rev 3.3
    Intel E6600 (stock 2.4Ghz)
    Zalman 9500 LED CPU cooler
    Corsair XMS2 DDR2 PC-6400 4x1GB
Corsair Dominator Memory Fan (purely for the laugh I bought that...)
PNY nVidia 8800GTS 512MB (stock Cooler)
    Samsung Spinpoint 250GB
    LG DVD+/- RW Litescribe
    Seasonic M12 700W modular PSU
    Gigabyte 3D Aurora 570
    Logitech G15 & G5
    Vista Home Premium 64-bit

The idea is an externally mounted Radiator that will cover over the 2 120mm exhaust fans that are in the Aurora at the back (have imbedded blue LEDs) that will cool the GFX Koolance 8800 GTS 512 Waterblock.

Then have an internally mounted radiator :dremel: (same model as exterior) with 2x120mm RED LED fans mounted onto it at the top of the case, for the CPU cooling.

These would be linked to Koolance RP-1000BK Pump/Res combos in the 5.25 drive bays. One with red Feser 1 fluid for the CPU and one with blue Feser 1 fluid for the GFX.

Am I completely idiotic with this idea?

Please note, the SU is not properly to scale....and sucks, my fault.

Any opinions, input, observations, blantantly obvious errors that I haven't noticed etc are all greatly appreciated....

Well, I got all the parts for this wednesday of last week, and got it all installed on the saturday. No construction photos I'm afraid as my camera decided to die on me, so only have finished product shots.

That was what the case was like originally.

While waiting for the WC parts to arrive I did some engraving on the case (ZiiP community, Cheesecake!)

Parts finally arrived, Bourbon was an unexpected bonus from a friend who brought all of this over from the states for me.

The radiator mounted. The dremel work was easy enough, but had the table too high, so the disc skipped a bit, hence the large mark on the left-hand side. I will be getting a grille to cover this all though.

Koolance RP-100 Black installed. The radiator was mounted too far forward that it impeded on the 5.25" drive bay covers, so I had to remove one. As well as that the 120mm NorthQ Red LED fans I installed didn't line up properly for me and so one of them is only held in place with pressure and 2 screws. :wallbash:

The final product. All the blocks are Koolance gear. I was surprised with the weight of the 8800 GTS 512 block, but it is so damn shiny I couldn't care less.

So shiny in fact that my camera couldn't focus on it! :D (I'm hopeless with manual settings on digital cameras, so never bother)

Slightly askew shot of the tubing, rad and fans.

    Everything up and running

While no post by others in this thread. I want to say thanks to all those that gave me information and their opinions with regard to getting this done, either directly or indirectly. :thumb:

Nice job, [Ziip], I am wondering how your temps are with that WC setup.

I have that 570 case and I know the stock case fans don't move a lot of air, especially the front intake fan which has severely restricted airflow due to the design and close proximity of the fan guard, the lower HDD cage and the front filter. So do you feel like your temps are low enough and that you still have adequate case airflow? :eyebrow:

Can't believe I never replied to this.

Only dug this thread up as I can't seem to locate my pictures!

The temps are great. During the summer, the CPU has been idling at about 30 C with highs of 37C whilst running CoD4 at 1680x1050 with every bell and whistle on for about 3 hours.

During the winter, it has idled at about 17-19C (cold house) and never breaks 30C then either.

I Find the airflow to be fine althoughI know I am messing with it considering I have one intake fan and 4 exhaust fans
