Essentially you're wasting electricity and losing your nerves just to back up some internet porn. You do realize how pointless it is? Are you sure you really want to spend even more money to keep doing it?
Well an NAS is much slower than eSATA... ...& tends to be much more expensive for the same drive capacity... Not that NASes don't have their place, but...
Then DELETE some! Delete the crap ones. I used to have the same problem with TV shows. I collected many TB through uni, watched once, never again. So I bit the bullet and deleted them one day. I felt bad for a day or two, but after that I forgot about them because I would never watch them again anyway. It's not a big loss. Concentrate on keeping the ones you TRULY VALUE and not the ones you 'like to have'.
it's pointless and make me feel bad ... but like i don't know what i can do yeah i got tv shows and media from discorvery etc. but like i delted all of that to free up space for porn... had all kind of important dad but you never can keep up with porn ... and dam yeah it's pointless and make you like wtf ... i dunno
if you seriously have 7TB worth of porn on your computer i dont think the problem is one of data storage. i think you need to see a therapist. in all seriousness you could have a real problem.
If this data is so important to you that you can't delete any, then can I suggest you sort out some kind of back up before you plan on a system that allows you even more data storage?
I'm pretty sure they made porn sites so you don't have to have 7TB of it on your pc (a subscription would be cheaper than another drive).
