    what looks amazing and would fit in the two high floppy drive gap ive got gaping on the front of my puter?
    i dont fancy an lcd mind u

    You could do a fancy lcd...
    oh.. damn :p

    On a more serious note:
    • Winamp VU meter
    • Some other type of led/parallel port contraption that monitors something like CDP useage (one color for 75%- and one for 75%+ or something)
    • Build your own baybus
    • Some other idea I'm sure someone will come up with
    • OH OH I'VE GOT IT!!! Two floppy drives :p

    i would like to build a baybus but i dont have any fans other than the hsf to warrant building one :lol:
    however your two floppy idea sounds good ...:eyebrow:

    a hidden pop out bit to stash drugs / pron (on mini cds) and other things you shouldnt have (jk) :D

    seriously tho? mini headphone amp in one and Gameboy cartrige writer in the other :D

    and i already gots the usb and headphones/microphone on the front hmmm

    Various memory stick reader, reads Sony Memory Sticks, Compact Flashm etc.

    storage for when(if) you go to lans for all the cables, cd pen, screwdriver etc

    rubbish bin (depending on space behind the front)

    fully automatic pop out floppy disk launcher with joystick :D (i want to try and make 1)

    usb hub (dull)

    Network hub

    Parallel to PS(2) pad adapter

    phone charger (scrapeing bottom of barrel)

    lots of flashy lights (the barrel itself)

    mini fish tank with fake fish (don't want to fry the little buggers if you use real ones) and one of those treasure chests that pop open from air bubbles every 30 seconds...

    that would definately not be dull...

    I personally like the last idea, though i believe it would look a little less professional then he is going for.

    How about on/off swiches for your CCFLs and LEDs and a floppy drive?

    My first choice was the card reader but that was already taken. :(

    If you have a PDA, why not mod the docking cradle into the drive slots so you have internal docking?

    How about removing the front covers and paint everything behind it black.. then put a sign above it saying "CAUTION: Black Hole"

    I'd just turn it into a drawer for some pens, extra screws, and a calculator or whatever. Whatever you do, make it look like it's nothing but some blank panels.

    been done before and i dont have any of the sticks so cant justify the spend :lol:

    good idea but im struggling to think of anything that i could fit behind there other than maybe the mouse or CAT cable hmm

    lol i had a pda read the disaster mods forum on destroyed hardware...:miffed:

    done it on my briefcase pc so dont wanna duplicate really

    I might fall in :D

    hey unprofessionals my middle name lol i was under the impression that those fake fish worked on magnets thou and so close to my hard drive surely that isnt good?
