Networks if i delete somthing on a maped network drive

    if i delete somthing on a maped network drive where does it go or is it gne for ever

    think its gone forever, unless you use a recovery program

    Depends on access rights, it may allow it be deleted, but when you next log on it will be back. If it has deleted it and you can’t see it on the drive then its has "gone forever". However if it hasn’t been written-over yet by another file/s then you can easily recover it.

    I’ll edit this post if I can remember the one I used to use
