the photo looks great because photoshop exists but I doubt the real life effect is 10% as nice as this
Water acts as an optical fiber when its in a column like that so unless the water is also full of bubbles I imagine all youll see is a spot of light in the bottom of your sink. Moriquendi
Thats EXACTLY what you'll see! Unless you have really manky water thats full of crap. Edit: I nearly did a poo when I saw the price at the bottom of the page, then found out it was for a 50 inch hd-tv thinkgeek has them listed at $14 not a bad price I guess. But over exaggerating their effectiveness should be illegal, false advertising or something.
Yeah, we have those at work. Didn't guess it was to save money, just thought it was because it made the water feel soft and nice
GODDAMN!!! that looks insane, it's like a tap that gushes blood and the blue one is like slurpee on tap!!! I cannot believe the insane amount of exaggeration in the ad tho... it's got a few led's running off watch batteries ffs If they were running at max brightness the batteries wouldn't last long and indeed, barely a spot would be visible in the base of the sink, maybe the tiniest trace of color in the water? It might look ok at night, but still no where near the effect in the picture.
