    The ReadingLAN society (at the University of Reading), hold regular LANs (about twice a month).

    Its both PC and Xbox, for more info check out www.readinglan.com.

    If you are interested in coming along to the next two;

    16th and 30th Oct, let me know (I run them).

    Cheers.

    Check the site out then :) Its an official university society.

    Games vary from event to event, usually;

    BF192/Vietnam
    Quake3
    UT2003/2004

    Those kinds of things.

    I might be...done a few LAN's with mates before, and they are a laugh.

    What are the rules with regard to beer/smoking? Also, how long do the LANs run for? Can non-uni students attend?

    Beer/Smoking - As long as its outside the building its fine.

    Lenght of events - They are running from 0930 till 1930 at the moment, I want to organise an all weekender, but need to build up a "good" reputation with the uni first.

    Signing up to the site - Anyone can register to use the site and forums and such, if you want to join the society, and dont have a uni email, just put your normal email it.

    The next event is scheduled for 16th October, then the 29th October. We will be at freshers fair too, so the people starting new should definately come visit us :) (point out your from bit-tech).
