has anyone got any ideas for an extreme mod gaming rig? i dont wanna do a half life one cos thats been done and i want to try something original but i cant think ofanything... perhaps a game like doom to theme it on but i have no ideas for a doom case thanks for any help
not sure if anyone has done it but what about a far cry theme. thats if it hasnt been done but I havnt seen it yet lol
i'll just post my latest idea for a modded rig: no real theme, well, perhaps it's "evil" taking a cue from ORAC3, watercooling with chrome shower hoses, in a black aluminium case (gotta be black on inside too ), with purple/UV lighting. the window would probably have to be a whole side panel, if possible. sounds pretty neat, huh? i'd stealth the drives (i'm thinking a lian li pc-61 case with matching stealth units for that) and replace all LEDs on case with UV ones. maybe a white one for HDD. i would keep the whole thing extremely tidy and minimalist, though. edit: i must say, though, looking around this site has made me a LOT more ambitious to try a proper case mod. this place rocks!
i know what you mean about more ambisious lol, pilloux's HL2 extreme mod has inspired me... man that guy has talent
thers a lot of modders here with talent. this is just my opinion but I think this is one of the top places a modder would go to show or get insperation.
ur definately right whisp, ive seen ALOT of talent round here, that HL2 one is just the style that i want to work in, maybe with less rust though
