    It should be called "electromagnetic-micro-head-on-spinning-5400rpm-hard-disk-writer-rewriter-technique" Or emhos5hdwrt for short...

    So, when someone yells "emhos5hdwrt that!" you know exactly what they mean!

    "Tape it" Cheesecake.

    I guess people get used to a phrase realated to old technology and stick with it. I "zap" my PS3 with a bluetooth "zapper" (everyone knows real zappers are IR!). I still rent "video's" (which i take to mean video cassettes) from Lovefilm so only DVD/BD. I've described my MP3 player as a Walkman. People call condoms rubbers but they've not been made from rubber for (IIRC) many decades.
