Was impressed with the (desktop) image sharpening on a GerforceFX Mobility 5600.

That feature doesn't exist/correspond to anything on the ATi/Catalyst bench.

    Are ATi working on this?

Or how else can I sharpen my desktop with an ATi card?

That's a shame - really puts a damper on things.

I can't even upgrade or change my card. It's all built-in (you know where)..

Try getting a better background image :hehe:
You may also wanna try turning on Cleartype if you haven't (or turn it off if you have, see what you like best). Could help.

That's not what I want. Besides CT actually blurs the effect on fonts..

I was well impressed with the GeFX image sharpening feature. I think at this point GFX cards are much sharper than ATI cards just by utilising this feature. So nVidia now takes the crown in 2D image quality.

They don't know how to get in the game, and I'm also sceptical about whether they know the way it's meant to be played. :worried:
