I'm anywhere between £70 and £150 a month, depending on where in the world I am, and how many manufacturers I end up speaking to during the month. :p

Nearly died when I had a £180 bill... and I had a light month on the bit-tech front that month :eeek:

im sure with most contracts that when u sign up for the contract there is allways a maximum limit of how much the bill is allowed to go up past the persons billing limit.......e.g.ihad a contract for £21 an my bill excluding the linerental was £75 worth of calls so alltogether that would of bee about £100 maximum on my contract that the operator would have allowed me to make calls.....

im sure orange would have done the same with its customers.... :worried:

aye i topped £50 in one month once! but the lady responsible did buy me dinner costing about that so i guess i can't complain. Life sucks been poor.

oh well time to sell you're computer to pay orange, i'll get the ball rolling with a bid of 50pence.

but anyway are you sure that it wasn't a miss-bill? Has someone been using ur account without you knowing? Or have you been using GPRS as ur main internet source for a month. :thumb:

i once went over £20 ina month! That was a crazy month :)

I didnt know there were enough hours in the month to be able to rack up that kind of bill, but i guess some contracts are expensive after the initial cheap period. Maybe you should also go pay as you go after as well :)

GPRS is charged by the byte, not by how long you stay online... so just leaving it on doesn't cost you anything.

Mother of god. That's a f**king huge bill. Looks like somebody's got some whoring to do.
Seriously now, I like my cell phone plan, unlimited everything (texting, nationwide calling, international calling, anytime minutes, anything else you could think of), unlimited lines (currently I have 4), all for 100 dollars a month. Thank god for the company discount.

get on the phone to orange asap, they'll be able to get an itemised bill to tell you exaclty what that ammount is for and see if theres any errors on it. to run up a bill that big you would have had to ring the speaking clock to time how long it takes to charge your phone or something. i cant see how a bill could be that big it its usually alot smaller.
i just stick with my pay & go. the handsets might not be as good but it sends text messages and makes calls so its ok for me. plus its red so it matches my usual outfit :hip:

Of course I don't know how much you use your phone but it's bloody hard to rack up a bill as enormous as that. Just give Orange a ring; it's probably a mistake. Admittedly, from previous experience they're not the best at sorting out problems like this but it's gotta be worth a shot.

Well unless it's actually transferring data it shouldn't be. GPRS is an always-on technology, so that G should be part of normal operation.

I you need lots of money, and have loose morals, why not try something like this? I mean, this guy is raising like, $500 every day! However, it's up to you if that's worth being totally sick and twisted.
