In-built modem in Toughbook

    I have just acquired a Toughbook CF-27 with an integrated modem (there is a pull-out aerial in the lid and a SIM card slot in the base) - has anyone had experience in setting these up? I really need a 'walk-through'.

    The built-in Modem is probably made by Sierra Wireless and it's probably based on the SB300 chipset.
    If I remember it uses CDPD. I could be wrong because they might have put different wireless card based on the available network in your region.

    Krikkit - the manuals at Panasonic do not mention the modem at all, let alone give instructions for using one, but thanks for the link.

    theurgy - any idea how I can find out what is in my Toughbook or where to get drivers?
