Windows In-game adds in cs 1.6 AHHHH!

    ROFL, if anything the ads are detracting from the game experience. YOU PUT THE ADS ON THE SCORE BOARD I CANT EVEN LOOK AT THE SCORE WITHOUT GETTING PISSED OFF THEY PUT AN AD THERE.

    gg valve, way not to support the game anymore, but put adds in it... never going to buy anything from you again.

    It's annoying for the more serious players, as much of the competitive CS play is still on 1.6 not source, and the reason was because Valve kept 1.6 the same and didn't change it. Now that they've added ads...

    See, people were giving EA crap for their ads, but at least in 2142 you don't really notice them :D

    Well I don't notice them at all in 2142, since there are none for the UK :p Just placeholder adds, at least when I played a few months ago, not played in a while.

    I didn't realise 1.6 fans were this bitchy about change, it's the addition of a few extra textures on walls, big deal. How does this effect the gameplay at all?

    Ill say.. i hate it now theyve put ads in there.. its so stupid and it makes it disgusting to look at the scoreboard on a 640x480 res which i use.. steam has rly stuffed this up big time.

    cs 1.6 is still the #1 game played across the world, so yes, there are plenty of people who still play, i play in CAL and my team is thinking about going CEVO.

    i wouldnt mind the ads if they actually blended in. these things stick out like crazy, and its extremely distracting and annoying...

    im finding that some players blend in with the dam things and i run past and then get shot.. and im like wtf..
    its sooo dam anoying!
