If I werent 6' 6 I'd consider living in Japan, as it is I wouldnt fit in very comfortably.

Yes. I would learn japaneese, leave everyone I know and move to another country on the other side of the planet just to get a 10mb connection! (nah... thats just *the* excuse :D :hehe: )

Yeah but if you think about it, Japan is one of the most technologically advanced contries in the world and most people live in the big cities which are easy to cable, 100m of cabling would probably serve 40 people there whereas it wouldn't get halfway up my lane in Wales :sigh:

Yeah, I wish that the US would get on the ball as far as broadband tech.

The local cable company (at&t, now becomming comcas) has a TON of fibreoptic cable laced under the ground, why don't they just use it?? We have a 2" thick wad comming in under our outdoor cable box!

I am currently on a 1.5 mbps connection, and while I am not complaining, a little bit of a bandwidth upgrade would be nice (if any of you work for Comcast, *hint*) :D

Oh, well, I need to be happy with what I have at the moment ;)

Yeah, I was also until last june-julyish. Be forwarned, there is no life after broadband ;)

Glad to hear that you are getting a faster connection, though, will that mean more time on the forums for you? :D
