I was just ready to order a black radeon 9800 pro from Newegg.com (I'm in the US) and I see they're outta stock. And it seems that there is conflicting information as to what color the card really is. But It has to be black, I've been this anal about project goliath up until now, I'm not stuffing a RED card into an almost all black box...

Where do I get one?!?!? :waah:

Why not like, custom fabricate a plexi box arround the card (allow for ventilation) and have it tinted black? That way you can "suffer" with the red pcb. Just a thought....

Sapphire does supply the US, though at this point I'd be willing to order from Siberia to get a proper black PCB 9800.

The plexi idea is something I had considered, but since the card will be in a watercooled loop, the cover won't hide all of that obnoxious red PCB.

When PCI Express hits, the graphics cards are all going to plummet in price...which is when I'll buy my black 9800 :hehe:

Hmmm...interesting. I hadn't thought they might do that. Well, I suppose it seems logical. Any PCI E articles you know of that I can read? I know only very little, except it accomodates higher voltages than AGP and PCI can currently supply.
