Went back to the park with my repaired 10-20mm as it was a nice day today...

Some of them are a bit OOF because I was having a bit of a dabble with my IR filter and I may have forgotten to switch to AF... :(

All are very nice, but I think #2 and #6 are fantastic. I really like the way you managed to get all the backlighting in #2 without completely destroying the detail in the center tree.

Whoooo! Sweet jebus! I think I finally know what lens I'm getting next :D
They are great! Well done mate!

Is this the one you're using: Sigma 10-20mm F/4-5,6 EX DC HSM ?
Like you yourself said in the Lenses/Whats in the bag thread: Love the distortion! (That was my very first thought when I saw pic#1 :) )

    OleJ, yep it's the Sigma.

I'll get a larger version of #5 up soon, I don't have access to my host atm so don't currently have anywhere to upload a very large image.

#2 is definitely the best there, they are all very good though!

    Any chance of #3 as a 1920*1200 crop? :)

#2 is pretty but I would have walked forward a few paces to get the branches of the tree on the right (just peeking in) out of the way if possible.

#3 I would have zoomed in on just the branches and golden leaves in the middle of the picture. But that, admittedly, is just me.

    #5 is a great shot. Beautiful (wallpaper please; 2560 x 1600 :D )

#6 is very good, but I would lighten the shed a little bit. Here's your image (if I may) with the luminosity curve upped a bit:

#2 #3 and #6 fantastic, and the whole set great overall.

What IR filter are you using, Hoya R72? I've got the B+W 093 and find it's too dark for practical use on my 20D.

    Thanks :)

Hwulex, it's just some totally cheapo generic 720nm filter and thus is pretty crappy (it's got a huuuuge hotspot right in the centre). And yeah, it's really dark, I was having to use a 30sec exposure with f/10 on a completely bright sunny day to get anything out of it. Also processing is difficult since LightZone's white balance dropper tool doesn't appear to work.

I think mine were 30 seconds at f/8 with ISO800 to get anything on a bright British day with this one. In South Africa I managed lower ISOs but not much.
