Windows Increased Windows Speed

Its an incredible tool for avid gamers that optimizes Windows XP for gaming.

Well, it sounded really cool so I set a system recovery point just incase. So I downloaded it, unzipped it, and ran it. It restarted in half the time it usually does and farcry ran much smoother than it usually does. Everything in windows loaded/ran faster than ever then I discovered something. I couldn't connect to the internet through my wireless router. So I was forced to restore to the point I had just made. I'm so pissed, windows was running so fast. I highly recommend you try this if you dont have a wireless router, and if your really tech savey try to fix it if you use a wireless router and if you do get back to me

I tried this, it did seem to make doom3 a little more responsive (seeing as im running at stock atm), havent found any issues yet

Seems worth trying imo, just reenable the security accounts manager service.

 

Simply re-enable Wireless Zero Configuration, changing it from Disabled to Automatic.

This tool is handy, but a little over-zealous at which services are disabled.

It's probably a good thing to run it, then double check in Services to make sure that nothing was Disabled that you REALLY do need.

Or... disable stuff by hand.

 

It seems faster and so far no problems,besides loading faster it took a while to find my router and alow me to get on the net.I also see that it also gets rid of little animations like the task bar if you hit the extend arrow it instantly goes to it,it used to slowly come out and.Also when I see how it maneges my tasks it is doing ok I think I will be keeping this little download

 

Sorry for the double post.It's a disaster I go to "control panel" and everything is messed up I know I dont ever go there but I liked the old way how do I get rid of this thing. Its like this with all the windows.

 

Sorry for the triple post.Ok I just uninstalled it and everything is back to normal but I look at my prosseces list and I didnt know all of them used that much prossecer stuff.I think I will only use it when I'm seriusly gaming but not now.

Anyway i just turned the animations back on after running the program.

 

Re-enable Terminal Services and Security Accounts Manager.
