Well over the weekend Indian Larry (a famus bike builder from Brooklyn NY) died after sufering an acident doing what he loved. He was riding his motorcycle at a show while doing one of his famus surfing moves on it. The bike wobled and he lost control and fell. He was rushed to the hospital at witch some time lader he was pronounced brain dead.

Most people know Indian Larry from Discovery Chanels "Great Bike build Off" he did win the trofy but in the end he cut it in half to give his oponent a pice. He was a true New Yorker.

    R.I.P

Here is part of his news covered HERE

Its a sad loss to the biking community. Ive seen him on several Discovery Channel shows and his work is simply amazing.

:jawdrop: Dang man, that sucks. RIP...

Anyone catch the Great Biker Buildoff? He built what has to be the nicest bike I've ever seen in my life... Simple, elegant, classic...

    Such a shame.
The feller had such problems with alcohol abuse which he put a stop to by piling his creative side into bikes. I suppose that it is only right that he was killed on/by a bike and not by his past demons.

it was a gr8 loss to the bike comunity. He was described as a down to earth person and his aperance on tv enforced this. I never knew him but He was a gr8 loss. His art pices will live on tho.

I didnt know this many people knew about him so i was dubious of puting this pice of news in this forum. I am glad i did, but the news sadens me.
