    I was interested in if anyone has used inductive power transfer to get through a surface you didn't want to damage... technically just a transformer with a bigger gap between so a bit lossy but lets you transfer through for various possibly reasons; airtight case, cooling immersion, difficult material to cut through or something you don't want to damage, whatever...

    If you haven't needed to use this yourself, have you seen this elsewhere or know where to find it? I'm interested in as many examples/embodiments as possible if they do exist.

    basically any rechargeable electric toothbrush, because having exposed power terminals is against health and safety.
