has anybody heard anything about this heatsink besides the hardocp review [which wasnt very helpful either way]?

im wondering how it would stack up to an ultra-120 extreme and a noctua nh-u12f using passive cooling or low cfm quiet fans...

Marginally better, not worth the case space either way over the Thermalright 120.

And if you're looking for low noise at any cost the Noctua can't be beat. (If you're using noctua's own fans.)

would a nh-u12f with 2 noctuas in push/pull be better than 2 of the same fans on an ultra-120 extreme?

No. But then again this also depends on your heatload. the TRUE is more expensive, but it can handle more heat, and it should be just as quiet as a noctua with a push-pull going. That, and don't waste money on their fans - yate loons are good for low noise, but the Scythe fans are reccomended here.
