    I thought it was a pun because the console's only ever appeared in computer-generated images.

    Does anyone know if this thing has always been called the "Phantom"? Because it's an ironic name for a non-existent console.

    wow this is the first i've heard of the machine in a long long time. Completely forgot about its existence (or lack of). Was this the machine that was supposed to be able to play other console's titles...or pc games....?

    It's been in development almost as long as Duke Nukem Forever... I wonder which will come out first? :D

    This is strange, because they were on G4TechTV (Attack Of The Show) and the demoed a working version of the console. Dunno what went wrong since then, apparently they were headed for a winter holiday release. Oh well, still some delicious irony.
