Electronics infra red remote start.. is this possible?

    hmm they dont seem to ship to england as far as i am aware...

    i think MPJA do but i havent really looked...

    I think this is the closest you will get in the UK. A bit overkill but should work. Not that expensive either consider it includes a nice remote control.

    Well, this way, you can probably wire the reset button as well and maybe wire the other relays to the cd-dom drive buttons.

    I'm tempted to do that now...

    That's a great kit you found there. SO cool I had to poke round the rest of the site.

    Though what's handy about the first is that it can run off 5V, and you can pcik that up from the PSU even turned off, I think.

    expensive... on both of those products.... the ones in america only convert to about £12 odd

    yeah, you short out the +5V line to the gnd to "Hotwire" it. don't take my word on it, i just think it's that.

    I'm just a little messed up on vicodin right now, had my wisdom teeth out a few hours ago

    actually right now would be best for the dangerous stuff, i wouldn't notice the pain, just the smell
