    Hi all,

    Just wondering, This is the Infrared detector that Im looking at buying (not sure you can get cheaper ones but this it £2.99)
    IR Detector
    However, I want to know if this Infrared emitting diode will work correctly with it, IR LED 1 or there is this one IR LED2

    The IR will be used in a system where the IR LED will be on all the time and when the IR beam is broken it will activate something. Is IR the right thing to use for this

    The detector wavelength range isn't a good match for either... :sigh:
