Right i just bought a new mobile (the 8210) and it has the infrared thingy for transfering numbers and ringtones etc. I have been told and have looked at my motherboard and i have an ir connection on there, its with all the chassis pins where you stick on hdd led, reset sw etc. Where can i get the thing to plug into it to use it, or failing that where can get one that plugs into my com port.
Asus has a irda connector for their motherboards. It should also work on other boards, but you may have to change the pin sequense. Works fine on Abit boards. http://www.asus.co.jp/Products/accessories.html Here in Finland it costs 94FIM witch is about 10£ (Currency converter)
