linkie the basic idea is that the inmates left the prison when a door was left unlocked and went to the local stores to buy booze n' stuff. What I dont understand, is that they came back each time. They could have run off for good, never to be seen again, but they had the balls to face their conviction and still get tagged with escape? Sounds like the judicial system wants to punish, caring not what for.
Well, that's not true.. Yes, they have to be punished in some form or that will set precidence for the future.
precisely... set a precidence which says "if you escape but come back without doing harm, you wont be punished". Sounds like a good way to do 'business' to me.
you never know what they could get up to when they leave.[sarcasm]but aslong as they come back its all well and good[/sarcasm.] EDIT:sarcasm tags
Unless one of the beer runs involves a convicted RAPIST and your wife is also at the gas station putting fuel in her car - duh...... There is a REASON they are in jail - they could still do alot of harm in an hours time.......
