I recently got a new computer and instead of just putting my old hard drive into the new comp, I just put a new hard drive into it and installed Windows XP on it. Now my old hard drive has Windows XP still on it, so I was wondering if I can just plug my old one in with my new hard drive. Will it screw up my system or not boot? I'm guessing it still would since my new one will be the master drive. The problem is, is that my old hard drive was on a 32 bit proc and my new one is 64 bit.

As long as the jumper settings are correct (master for the new and secondary or slave for the old), I think you should be fine.

Plug the new one in as slave, old one as master or on a different IDE channel and format the old one.
