have you considered just going to sleep when tired instead of trying to have a sleep patten? I do this in the holidays and usualy stay up for 28hrs and sleep for about 8hrs and feel great. It's abit confusing waking up at 4am the first time but is actualy great as you get to experiance every time of day, 3am in my town is sooo still it's untrue you cannot hear anything apart from your own breathing.. kind of makes you feel like your the only living thing alive
